지난 8월 14일부터 27일까지 싱가폴에서 ICPI(Inline Certification Program Internatinal) 주최로 국제인라인지도자협의회가 있었습니다. 본 스쿨의 지도자들도 국내지부장과 지도자로서 참가하였습니다.

FIRST ICP INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ? SINGAPORE 2006
We are privilege to announce that ICP International will be organizing its first international conference in Singapore from the 18th -27th August 2006. www.visitsingapore.com
We would like to invite all ICP Examiners and Instructors to join us at this inaugural conference to be a part of the revival of the ICP Program and Community, this time in the International arena. We owe our history to IISA and wish to acknowledge with appreciation the founders of the IISA and ICP Program, www.iisa.org and introduce to you ICP International www.icp-international.org.
ICP International Directors would like to take the opportunity to present to participants the new structure and organization of ICP International. The structure will include the appointments of National Directors of countries where ICP has been introduced. These countries include, Australia, Canada, China, England, Germany, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Slovenia and the United States.
There will also be clinics that will cover major topics of interests to ICP Instructors through a program that include night skating along the East Coast of Singapore and the Singapore River and a visit to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. ICP Level 1 2 and 3 programs will also be conducted during the conference so that skaters around the region could benefit from the visiting examiners. The clinics will include skills analysis for speed and slalom, learning to play inline ball, understanding the physiological make up of a skater and his ‘constitution’ ? an oriental perspective, making a good living out of skating ? a business model for the ICP Instructor are just some of the clinics that will benefit you.
This is a conference not to be missed, so set aside your dates as we prepare more details to be sent to you in the coming weeks.

2004년 12월 IISA에서 ICP 운영과 권리를 이양받은 ICPI에서
2006년 8월 14일부터 25일까지 싱가폴 국제 사무국의 개최로 국가별 지부장과 감독관회의는 물론 Level 1,2,3 자격시험과 지도자 워크샵을 가졌습니다.
국내에서는 저를 비롯하여 김종협, 이재익, 전집섭, 지민구 선생님이 참가하였습니다.
내용을 잠시 살펴보면,
15일부터 17일까지 3일간 지부장, 감독관회의를 통해 16년간 고정되었던 자격시험 제도와 메뉴얼을 수정보완하는 작업을 했는데, 사진과 영상촬영을 통해 지도과정을 섬세하게 파악하였고, 교육모델연구와 교수법, 트레이닝론, 해부학, 응급처치 과정 등 수업 현장에서지도자에게 필요한 내용을 워드(문서)작업을 병행하면서 실질적인 교재작업까지 마치는 강행군을 하였습니다. 3일간 회의끝나고 나니 몸살이 날뻔했습니다. 아무튼 국내는 물론 전세계 인라인지도자들에게 보다 효과적이고 실질적인 지도자 양성과정이 나타날수 있게 된다는 점에서 만족스러운 회의였습니다.
18일부터 20일(3일간)까지는 Level 1, 2 자격시험이 이었고, 21일부터 24일(4일간)까지는 Level 3 시험이 있었습니다. Level 1에는 32명의 응시자가 참여하였는데, 저와 Emeline(싱가폴), Adam(캐나다)과 감독관 연수(AE)로 김종협, Yousofe(말레이시아) 선생님이 진행하였습니다.
Level 2 에는 6명의 응시자가 참가하였고, 국내에서 지민구 선생님이 응시하셨고, Felix(아시아 지부장, 싱가폴), Kristine(미국 지부장) 선생님이 진행하였습니다.

반가운 소식은 김종협 선생님이 Level 3 시험에 좋은 성적으로 합격하는 경사가 났다는 것입니다. 영어로 진행되다보니 의사소통에 다소 어려움이 있었지만 수업운영과 분석능력, 실기능력이 뛰어났다는 Adam(캐나다 지부장)의 칭찬까지 있었습니다.
21일부터 22일까지는 지도자워크샵이 진행되었습니다.
